24 CE Credits
*To receive Continuing Education Credits, you must attend ALL hours of the training. CE Certificates can only be given upon the completion of all hours of all modules. We are not authorized to give out credits for individual modules.
Completing all four modules of Core Skills is necessary to satisfy ICEEFT’s EFCT Certification requirement.
Please remember that by registering, you are committing to all four modules of Core Skills. Your registration reserves your place for the entire course, and by registering you are expected to attend all modules in THIS series.
Fee:
Option 1: $1,200 for all four modules
Option 2: $300 per individual module (After making the initial payment, your space is reserved in the series. Please make your subsequent payments at least three weeks prior to the start of the next module.)

About Core Skills
Course Content
Four one-day workshops will provide an in depth study of each of the EFCT steps. Each day will contain instruction and group supervision of EFCT work according to the guidelines set out by the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT) in Ottawa. The first two modules cover Stage One of EFCT (Steps One & Two in module one and Steps Three & Four in module two). The last two modules cover Stage Two of EFCT (Steps Five, Six, & Seven of Withdrawer Re-engagement in module three and Steps Five, Six, & Seven of Pursuer Softening in module four).
There will be opportunity for participants to get feedback on videos of their own work with clients. Bringing your own video to view is necessary to meet the requirement of ICEEFT certification.
Attendance qualifies participants for "Additional Training beyond the foundational level" designation on ICEEFT's website with 24 hours of group supervision (CE Credits provided by Aikin Associates Seminars*) which can be applied toward EFCT Certification. Module One: Steps 1-2 Assessment and Alliance
Module Two: Steps 3-4 Accessing Primary Emotion and De-Escalation

Time
Workshops are held on Saturdays from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm Pacific Time (each day includes one hour for lunch and two 15 minute breaks). **To receive Continuing Education Credits, you must attend ALL hours of the training. CE Certificates can only be given upon the completion of all hours of all modules. Aikin Associates Seminars is not authorized to give out partial credit or credit for individual modules.
Qualifications
Participants are required to have completed the EFCT Externship in its entirety and be willing to present their own work through videotape presentation.
Participants must be licensed therapists or license-eligible psychotherapy interns or otherwise legally allowed to practice as mental health professionals.
It’s ideal for participants to have prior experience working with couples and have at least one couple on their current caseload willing to be videotaped for case consultation and feedback of their clinical work.
Completing the registration enrolls the applicant in the full course, or all sessions, of the training and is a declaration of intent to complete the course.
NOTE: ICEEFT does not offer the Certification as EFT Therapist to non-licensed professionals. All participants must be familiar with and commit to abide by all HIPAA regulations.
Cost
$1,200 for the entire series or $300 per 1-day workshop.

Initial payment is due immediately to reserve your space in the series. We will request payment for the subsequent modules approximately three weeks prior to each module if we haven't received it by then.
Please remember that by registering for the first modules of EFCT Core Skills, you are committing to all four modules in this series. Your registration reserves your place for the entire course.
Cancellation Policy:
Two weeks+ advance notice – Full refund less $40 administrative costs
Between 7-13 days notice – One half of the total fee will be refunded
Less than 1 week notice – We are unable to offer a refund when canceled within one week of the workshop date, due to fixed costs and contractual obligations. When you enroll, it is with the understanding that you will attend. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your attendance.
**Aikin Associates Seminars is approved by the California Psychological Association (CPA) to provide continuing education for psychologists. Aikin Associates Seminars maintains responsibility for this program and its content. The California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) now recognizes CPA continuing education credit for license renewal for LCSWs & MFTs.
